What We Do Not Do

• We do not place cookies of any kind.
• We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or fingerprinting.
• We do not transmit, store, or log anything you type or generate.
• We do not require an account, email address, or any personal information.
• We do not share any data with third parties, because there is no data to share.

How 5QR Works

All QR Code generation is performed entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript. The content you enter never leaves your device. No request containing your input is ever sent to our servers. We do not know which websites you create QR Codes for, we do not know which data you embed to the generated QR codes.

What the Internet Sees

Visiting 5QR is like visiting any website. Your browser connects to our server to load the page. In doing so, standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the URL requested, is handled by the network infrastructure involved in that connection: your browser, your internet service provider, your DNS resolver, and our web hosting infrastructure. This is how the internet works, universally and inherently, and is not unique to 5QR.

Our web server may retain basic connection logs (IP address, timestamp, requested resource) as part of standard hosting operations. We do not use these for profiling, advertising, or any form of user tracking.

Third-Party Content

The Daily Design Inspiration section on our homepage loads images of featured designers, brands and their products and projects from competition.adesignaward.com. When your browser fetches those images, a connection to that server is made. That server's privacy practices are governed by its own policy.

Changes

If this privacy policy changes materially, the updated date above will reflect that. The current version is always at 5qr.net/privacy.
